  We went here for my birthday for the first time. I had the filet mignon and my wife had the lobster and sirloin. My steak was so tasty and soft and the twice baked potatoes were fantastic. Jaime said her lobster it was awesome the steak should've probably been upgraded to the filet mignon.
  
  Our server was on top of it. She never let our drinks get to the bottom and was very good.
  
  On the other side of it service from the kitchen was slow and it took close to 45 minutes to get us or dinner. The manager, Brandon, came out and said they want to make sure we get treated right. He took Jaime's lobster and steak off the bill. I told him he did not have to do that I understand things happen and he said it's not a big deal they wanna make sure we had a good time. I understand things happen, and they stepped up and made it right. Will absolutely go back.

  Just got home from dinner....not that happy. My wife had salmon, she loved it (for that I am happy).
  
  I, on the other hand, had prime rib. Spending $89 bucks on dinner should be a wow factor...being a steakhouse, you would expect beef to be their "pare excellent" dish. The prime rib was stringy and tuff. I ordered béarnaise sauce go with the prime rib. Whoever was responsible for preparing this...sauce obviously has little or no training; as there was no hint of tarragon...not even close to what I produce in my own kitchen.
  
  To top it off, I ordered a second glass of red to go with my meal...I still had not received it when I requested my check.
  
  The gal who served us...no complaints.
  
  My wife and I were celebrating signing paper on a new home purchase; guess we will continue looking for a "go to eat out" place.

  So we are in Tucson for a few days, checking out the Gem & Fossil show, and we forgot it was Valentines week. Usually, I dont like going out on Valentines day because it seems the restaurants jack up their prices but, we were able to get in at The Keg Steakhouse in Oro Valley at a very last minute, I was soo happy there were some opening slots available.
  
  When we first arrived, they placed us in booth almost to the kiddie korner - which is nice, I love big booth so I have space.  But, as we sat down and waited for awhile, we notice that our server hasnt been over to our table nor water service. However, because we were waiting there for sometime, the server finally came over and there was some mix up, he apologized profusely and we were all good because he came over and recognized the situation and handle it very quickly! He also told his manager who also came over and apologize and we were really okay but, shocked and happy of their service.  dont know what it is but, Tucson community seem so nice, laid back, and relaxing!
  
  Food was excellent - my 2nd time dining at the Kegs Steakhouse but, first time at this location and It was the BEST VALENTINEs DINNER I had and I am not much of a steak person my husband and for me I really have to be either 1.) SUPER HUNGRY (which I was) 2.) In the mood to eat Steak (Which I was) but, I love their filet mignon and lobster tail - it just hit the spot with our Mushroom Neptune and shared Iceberg lettuce.
  
  And having our pinot noir!  
  
  All the staff and including our waiter was so generously nice, great customer service, ambiance is peaceful, relaxing, and beautiful and again, food is amazing!

  Great service (they take reservations). And a nice vibe. Perfect setting for a date night. Food is good over alland the drinks too. I love the martinis! . I've had the prime rib and filet mignon the meats were tender and delicious each time! I love the smashed potatoes and the Twice baked potatoes. Only complaint are the vegetable sides. They have been dry and not seasoned. I had the  creme brulee dessert last time and I was disappointed. It was burned and the taste was overwhelming. Our server gladly offered to replace it or take it off our bill. The cheesecake is good.

  I've been here a couple of times.... I hate to say, I've been sadly disappointed every time I come.  I've had a lot of great steaks in my life, but this place drops the ball.  
  I didn't even finish my filet or meal after not having eaten all day.... should speak for itself.
